        Big John has been an integral part of The Project for years. He’s put up some impressive numbers. When he first arrived, he could pull 495 # on Deadlift with straps. Since then, he’s taken his PR to 620 # without straps. He can also Row 500m in 1:17 and has a sub 6:30 2K Row. His Rugby accomplishments are impressive as well, winning a National Championship last season. / We hold athletic and strength development above all else at the gym. If you are strong and you can move and you’re taking care of yourself outside of the gym and in the kitchen, great performance will follow. // // 📸 @captainslasher 🏴

          Everyone's out there looking for this or that special program or what's this guy's doing or what's working for that guy. Sometimes the best solution is just to show up and work hard every time you're in the gym. Sometimes the science and theory can actually hold you back.
