@attitudenation is the man. // @attitudenation with @get_repost ・・・ It's about YOU. I want to lead you. You trust in me, and I am honored to be your coach. injury as an athlete has shown me another direction, one I have always been one foot in with Coaching. One foot athlete, one foot coach. I have never fully dove in 100% as a coach. With February 2nd soon approaching....I want to give YOU my all. My back is done. Surgery I need. 13 years this body is run down. My back seems to haunt me like a scary dream. I'm tired of coaching warm. I am tried of letting people down. Skeletons of the dark unite and take form. Our bar is our sword, molded tight to the weight as we lift heavy daily. Yes a hard program, but one that will create thick skin and a hard mind. Lifting a heavy bar is nothing compared to what life can place on us. Life is heavier. Community is the driver. Let's bond on & off the wooded battlefield and take back the old school CrossFit community before money, social media, and sponsorships ruined it all. Let's take back Weightlifting to the day where lifting was loved and not used as "a tool to get better at other sports" Let's gather the troops and fight the good fight side by side. A fight still punches inside my chest, no it's not my defibrillator....but more of a whisper that calmly & fiercely says "go" attack" "DO". Lead my family, grow my kids, love my wife, attack my career and coach with 100% EVERYTHING I have . This ship is a ship of outacts with chalk on our hands and blood on our necks. Grab hold tight skeletons.....for the ride is bumpy but the destination is beautiful. - Coach North Team thedarkorchestra.com @thedarkorchestra @doweightlifting

Thank you for the kind words @bobbymaximus @gymjonessalvation. We owe much of our previous and continued success to Bobby Maximus, @lisa.boshard and the Gym Jones family. Know that Project Deliverance will ALWAYS have your back and will continue to raise the bar both in terms of performance and character. Let's put our foot to the floor, step on the gas, and reach new heights. Forward! @bobbymaximus ・・・ I always surround myself with the best. Matt has been a close friend for years and is one of our Fully Certified Instructors. We've trained together, feasted together, and had a lot of fun during the 9 years I've known him. I'm extremely proud of him and everything he has done. He's earned my respect one hundred times over. @gymjonessalvation ・・・ The Power-To-Weight ratio is one of the most important aspects of the Gym Jones philosophy. Whether you're 140lbs or 250lbs the goal is to be as strong as humanly possible for your weight. Matt Owen, one of our certified instructors is the absolute epitome of the "Power-To-Weight" ratio. Not only is @horsepowerandbarbells incredibly strong but he's also got a finely tuned engine (his PRs are listed below). He can lift, he can breathe, and is living proof that bigger isn't always better, nor does it always mean stronger. ______________________________________ Matt's PRs: Current Bodyweight: 190 # Deadlift: 515 # Back Squat: 425 # Front Squat: 352 # OHS: 285 # Snatch Balance: 275 # Snatch: 246 # Clean & Jerk: 308 # Power Snatch: 220 # Power Clean: 300 # Clean: 320 # Jerk: 315 # Power Jerk: 285 # 500m Row: 1:19.8 500m Ski: 1:25.4 2000m Ski: 6:51.8 2000m Row: 6:36.2 5000m Row: 17:46.5 60min Row: 16,032m

Training is about progressing onto more advanced movements over time. As you master the fundamentals, you earn the right to graduate to more difficult and technical movements. That's the essence of training and self improvement. // @kotraba ・・・ Finally strong enough to start working on handstand push ups! This is exciting for me because I was getting ready to start attempting handstands right before I went into the hospital and got my diagnosis. Nothing's gonna stop me from reaching my goals.

Our definition of "Elite" @gymjonessalvation What does "elite" mean? Over the years the word elite in our community has been taken the wrong way by some. It is not based on status or success. What is elite about Gym Jones is the effort and character of the people. Making a drastic change in your life is elite. Making an overall massive change is elite. There is some discussion about what "The Mind Is Primary" really means. For us, it's that a person recognized a need for and deliberately chose to change their life. And they used training as a vehicle to become a better person and change their life inside and out. When we talk about using this training for outside stuff, we’re not just talking about sports, we’re talking about people making their lives better. No one is elite because they fought in a cage, climbed a mountain, played a professional sport, or was in the Olympics. What makes a person elite is being a good person. A person with integrity and class. A person who doesn’t put others down but rather works to help other people. We have the opportunity to create a better type of person. A better member of society. That’s what’s really Elite. In our world, you're not anything if you’re not a good person that can stand with integrity. That’s why I stand here and maintain a sharp blade. If you can’t stand with integrity you don’t belong here. The reason we are all here is because Gym Jones appealed to something bigger than ourselves. It was never, is not, and never will be just one person. The goal of this place is to help people and be kind to people. If you’re going to talk about who’s better, let’s talk about character.

Honored to have @aaronmartinezbjjfighter in our remote training network. We've got a whole host of different athletes training in lots of different disciplines. The common thread between these individuals is their willingness to dedicate time to both their craft and the gym. Apply for remote training and join the squad at welcometotheproject.com (link in bio) // @aaronmartinezbjjfighter with @repostapp ・・・ Thank you to my Strength and Conditioning trainer, Matt Owen, at Project Deliverance. Matt started working with me right before I got Brown Belt, and helped me achieve my biggest goal this year, of reaching the podium at the Asian Open last September. I'm ready for my biggest year yet, training with Eliot Kelly and company in El Dorado Hills!

@horsepowerandbarbells ・・・ Before the "garage gym revolution" and before the sport of fitness actually became a mainstream event, there was Project Deliverance in 2007. I recall posting some of these photos on Facebook back in the day and got all sorts of messages: "Why are you working out in a garage?" "What are you guys doing? I wanna be a part of that." Heavily inspired by Gym Jones, myself and a group of my friends got together, combined our resources, and trained together for 12 weeks out of my parents garage. Many of us were athletes and were training for upcoming seasons of competition. This was the only place we could listen to loud music, drop weights, and sweat and bleed everywhere. That sort of behavior was totally foreign about 10 years ago. // Moreover, we were pursing this idea that we didn't have to conform to this model of graduate high school, go to college, and be successful. Honestly, just settling down scared the hell out of all of us. So, we did what we knew and loved: trained hard all the time. For many of us, that's become how we put food on the table and pay the bills. But that same idea remains, if you don't absolutely love what you're doing, then quit, and go after what you really want to do. You can't really fail if you stay after it and keep trying. Project Deliverance started out as a bunch of punk kids training in a garage and chasing some dream. Now, it's a full blown training facility with over 100 members total and even more remote clients. So stay after it, don't settle for less. Stay inspired. Keep that fire burning every day. //

He came in everyday and grinded each session out and worked as hard as he could, and now is fitter than ever. Excited to see what this season has in store for him in Edmonton. Work hard and stay healthy.
