Too many people are crippled by the fear of failure. Part of being a competitor is being comfortable with yourself whether you win or lose. When you know who you are, a loss or even a win doesn’t define you as a person. Most of the anxiety we experience before a big event is derived from fear of what people will think of you if you lose. It’s human nature and it takes practice to let go and eliminate that from the picture. Be secure with your own self image and deliver yourself to better performance and training.
