Programming for Olympic Lifting takes some finesse. A linear sequence is great and yields good gains for beginners and intermediate lifters. However, we've found that most athletes with a big sport background yield better results from a more conjugated approach with an emphasis on maximal effort & dynamic effort along with supplemental work to help maintain residual, supporting characteristics.
