          Our gym family is strong. // Repost @michaelsobol38 • • • I grew up in a family that pushes one another. We challenge each other. Sometimes we fight. But we always hold each other to a higher standard. My brother is my mentor in life. I wouldn't have accomplished shit if it weren't for him pushing me. He taught me how to work hard. He taught me how to get noticed from a small school. He still teaches me to this day. There isn't enough in this world that I could ever pay him back with. One thing I do know is that we will always have each other's back. And if push came to shove, we will always fight for one another. Too many people today want the success without the work; then they hate the successful people because the winners are willing to do things they won't do, and their continued success is a reminder every single day of what they don't do. // So move forward every day.               @cjjung88 and his summer crew. He works incredibly hard and invests a whole lot into these guys from May to August.                 We all manage and deal with stress differently. Our training in the gym translates directly to life. It's not the heavy weight that breaks you down, it's the way you carry it and deal with it that determines the level of difficulty. When the opportunity to intern at Project Deliverance became available, he looked forward to joining a gym and team that shared his personal beliefs on training. / Mike recently became a full time trainer at Project Deliverance. / Mike, Strength & Conditioning Coach at Project Deliverance 545 # Deadlift 455 # Back Squat 415 # Bench Press / •What’s Your Athletic Background? Most recently, I was a Safety at Northern Illinois University. I was fortunate to be voted Defensive Player of the Year by my teammates. In high school I was a 3-sport athlete, playing football, wrestling and running track. Athletics were always a big part of my life since growing up my dad was football coach. I played every sport I could as a kid. / •Why Did You Choose Project Deliverance? Matt (Owner of Project Deliverance) and I competed against each other in high school. I've always respected Matt and we share the same views and ideology about training and sports. When life’s circumstances brought me here, it seemed like the perfect spot for me. People come to Project Deliverance with the mindset of wanting to better their lives. It was important for me to find a place and people with that mindset. / •What Is Your Favorite Part of Training? I'm a big strength guy, so I enjoy hitting strength goals on powerlifting movements. I also enjoy being able to move and be athletic. I enjoy being able to look back with clients to their first day when everything seemed overwhelming and help them to see how far they've come.
