            Big John has been an integral part of The Project for years. He’s put up some impressive numbers. When he first arrived, he could pull 495 # on Deadlift with straps. Since then, he’s taken his PR to 620 # without straps. He can also Row 500m in 1:17 and has a sub 6:30 2K Row. His Rugby accomplishments are impressive as well, winning a National Championship last season. / We hold athletic and strength development above all else at the gym. If you are strong and you can move and you’re taking care of yourself outside of the gym and in the kitchen, great performance will follow. // // 📸 @captainslasher 🏴

              AJ and his wife Summer own @g2asc in O’Fallon, Illinois, and they are dear friends of ours at The Project. / On Saturday, AJ came in and pulled an easy 600 # on the hex bar. We always ask the question, how strong is strong enough? AJ is definitely strong enough for his task and will always be the strongest guy in the room, even when he loses 30 # and goes down to a 220 # bodyweight. That being said, it’s important to test and assess, then reassess on your way to attaining your goals. // // 📸 @roamingdruggist
